Betstor deceased do hereby constitute and appoint Philip Kissam to be my true and lawful Attorney of me and in my name and behalf, to sell, assign and transfer to Charles F. Southmayd, Philip Kissam and Henry Day Trustees of William Astor the whole of Sixteen thousand dollars in Bonds of the City of Jersey City payable 1 Jan 1883...". The piece is in extremely fine condition with white paper and dark ink and a red seal.
