HENRY HASTINGS SIBLEY
Fur trader who served as a delegate to the United States Congress from Wisconsin Territory in 1848-49 and from 1849-53 held the same office from Minnesota Territory. He also served as Governor of Minnesota during the period 1858-1860 and was a General in the Union Army during the Civil War.
