JABS, HANS-JOACHIM
HANS-JOACHIM JABS. (1917 – 2003) was both a day and night fighter ace in the German Luftwaffe during World War II. 50 victories were scored. Jabs flew variants of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 Zerstörer heavy day fighter and night fighter.
SFDC. 6 1/2" x 3 3/4". n.p. n.d. A cover signed "Hans-Joachim Jabs" in bright blue marker by the famed Nazi pilot. The thirteen cent stamp was cancelled in Atlanta, Georgia, and there is an image of the Wright Brothers and their plane at the top.
